I started this redraw (original here) when I heard the very talented García Márquez passed away april 17. Sadly -and, also happily- I started a new job (one I really like!) and things have been a little hectic lately.
Anyhow, I finally finished. Here it is, Rebeca Buendía. I decided to depict three Rebecas: the child that once was the first victim of the insomnia plague in the town of Macondo, the young Rebeca that was so madly in love that she was driven to eat dirt to calm down, and the old Rebeca, all covered in black after the mysterious death of her husband.
